Premium cabinet painting done right the first time
Cabinet painting is the single highest-ROI project most Houston kitchens can do. A new kitchen is $40K+; a sprayed-finish cabinet refresh from PaintLux is a fraction of that and looks like it came off a factory line.
We remove every door and drawer, label them, sand and de-grease the boxes, hand-fill grain on oak where needed, prime with a bonding primer, then spray two coats of pre-catalyzed lacquer or alkyd enamel. The result is a hard, washable finish that doesn't peel off on the magnet strip or the under-counter trash pull.

Cabinet Painting FAQs
How much does cabinet painting cost in Houston?+
Most Houston kitchen cabinet refinishing projects run $2,800–$6,500 depending on door count and complexity. That's typically 70–80% less than replacing the cabinets.
How long does cabinet painting take?+
Most kitchens take 5–8 working days from removal to re-install. We can keep boxes usable through most of the project.
Will the paint chip or peel?+
Not with our process. We use a bonding primer and pre-cat lacquer or alkyd enamel — both designed for cabinet faces, not wall paint sprayed on cabinets.
Can you paint over oak grain?+
Yes. We grain-fill oak before priming so the finished door reads as smooth modern paint, not painted oak. Tell us at the estimate if that's the look you want.
Do you also paint bathroom vanities?+
Yes — same process, same finish, same warranty.
